There are different stages in SSI training.

Beginning to dive

Basic Driver

Training done in 2 dives.
From 15 years old and 10 years old for the JUNIOR program.

In the Basic Diver SSI program, you will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to dive to a depth of 12 meters with an SSI Professional. It’s a great way to explore the underwater world in greater depth by trying diving. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited toward the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver programs within 6 months, so you can take the next step in your diving adventure.

Scuba Driver

Training completed in 3 dives.
Accessible from 15 years old and 10 years old for the junior Scuba Diver.
Course of 3 dives.

You will learn everything you need to dive in natural environment up to 12 meters deep.

Duration : 3 days

For any training, the CACI medical certificate (see here) is mandatory.

Open Water SSI

This course is accessible from 15 years old (and 10 years old for the Open water junior limited to 12 m depth). It is completed in 6 dives.

The Open Water certification allows the holder to dive to a depth of 18 meters. This internationally recognized certification program is the best way to start your lifelong adventures as a certified diver.

Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to give you the skills and experience you need to be truly comfortable underwater. You’ll earn the Open Water Diver SSI certification.

Advanced Adventurer SSI

This course is accessible from 15 years old. It is completed in 5 dives.

The SSI Advanced Adventurer course was created to give you the opportunity to try different specialties before committing to a full course.

Specialty course 3 SSI dives

To have already the open water or an equivalence to carry out the training.
Training available from 15 years old.
3 specialty dives.

Training of deepening of a speciality in 3 dives either deep diving or buoyancy (Perfect buoyancy) or orientation (Navigation) or Nitrox (enriched air nitrox), etc…

React Right SSI

Training accessible from 16 years old. 1 day.

The React Right program is SSI’s rescue training program, including the following core elements: primary assessment, First Aid and CPR skills, primary stabilization techniques, and two optional elements: oxygen administration for dive emergencies and the basics of using an External Automatic Defibrillator (AED). Upon completion of this program, you will be certified as a
React Right SSI specialty.

Diver Stress and Rescue SSI

To have already the advanced open water or an equivalence to carry out the training.
Training accessible from 16 years old. Training in 8 dives.

The Diver Stress and Rescue SSI specialty program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. You’ll learn to identify stress, prevent accidents and receive practical techniques for performing rescues and providing emergency care. Through a combination of practical pool and open water sessions, you will become well prepared and confident in handling emergency and rescue situations. Upon completion of this course, you will earn the Diver Stress and Rescue SSI specialty certification.
